The 1971 film, which was based upon a 1956 novel of the same name by British author Ian Fleming, represented the sixth and final portrayal of the suave British Secret Service agent “007” by Scottish actor Sean Connery. This James Bond Diamonds Are Forever bullion bar is struck from 1 Troy oz. The bar measures 49.96 x 28.98 mm. The design of the bar is highlighted by a stunning brilliant uncirculated finish. Obverse: Centered on the obverse is the highly recognizable logo of the James Bond film franchise, the cleverly integrated “007” gun graphic. The emblems are contrasted against a background pattern crafted from repeating diamonds, with the inscription “1 OZ 999.9 FINE GOLD” appearing in a frosted area below. Reverse: The reverse features a collection of seven gorgeously cut diamonds, which have the illusion of tumbling forward in gradually increasing sizes.
